General:
- Focus point to get fan palms trimmed away from road to have clear view for residents. This is still in the works. Main Focus is to get this around of trimming done then we will take care of it.
- Making sure to weed eat oak tree suckers coming out the ground. Took care of a lot of them notice some in a few areas I will address with crew.
- Proposal for clusia around pump on yellow birch. This was sent
- Proposal for new plants in front of club house. This in the works plus other proposal Colleen requested. Working on designs
- We removed lantana shrubs behind clubhouse we will be adding blue daze at no cost in two weeks. We will be spraying perennial peanut in parking a lot then once all dead we will remove. Perennial peanut removal has been completed.
Pruning:
- Completed this week: Apple Blossom, Gold Flower – fully completed, Yellowwood – Fully completed – See map in Blue
- Estimated next week: Rest of Section 7 Apple Blossom,– See map in Pink
- During this pruning cycle, we will be performing rejuvenation cutbacks on hibiscus, petunias, firebush, and bougainvillea. We will also be reducing the height of jasmine at many front entrances. We are pausing on the hard cuts as instructed to finish this cycle of pruning.
Mowing (Please note, new mow rotation started this week) :

- Driveways and flower beds are treated for weeds once per month.
- No Spraying was performed this week due to the saturation in beds front delay afternoon rain
- We will attack weeds next week weather permit
- As a reminder, turf is maintained at approximately 4.75 inches during the summer months to promote healthier turf and improve drought tolerance.
IPM / Fertilization:
- The next Integrated Pest Management (IPM) application has been completed.
- Weed control and insecticide will be perform and I will also have mix with liquid nutrients. Also spot treated some areas for fungus.
- Chinch bug activity has begun throughout the area. We also recommend applying preventive grub treatment, as grub activity typically increases during September and October.
- Since our maintenance contract includes spot treatments only, we are offering residents an optional preventive Chinch Bug and Grub Treatment to help protect their lawns from significant turf damage. Cost: $125 per application.
- Few spots are showing in median and round about after gate entrance I had tech treat it with insecticide.
